Brand new trailer reveals beautiful environments from upcoming puzzle adventure game.
Ever since a demo for XING: The Land Beyond was released for the DK1 in mid-2014, players have been left waiting for more content and information. Thankfully, today a brand new trailer was released that shows off some of the games beautiful environments, including lush jungles, tropical beaches and hot deserts. You can check it out above.
Promising to bring puzzle adventure gameplay to the Oculus Rift in early 2016, XING is set on a mysterious floating island. Players awake at the beginning go the game to discover themselves stranded in an afterlife. Using exploration and puzzle solving, secrets are gradually revealed that explain the game’s story while also giving the player new powers (such as the ability to control the rain and snow).
Anyone attending PAX Prime at the end of this month will get the chance to play the game at the Indie MEGABOOTH, where a brand new demo will available for all to try. For those who can’t attend, a detailed blog post and gameplay video will be released shortly after.
Originally launched as a Kickstarter campaign in early 2013, those who missed out can still pre-order the game by heading over to the official website. Hopefully we’ll bring you more details in the near future, but for now enjoy the brand new screens and video above.
